COUNCIL DECISION (EU) 2024/3146

appointing a member of the Court of Auditors

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 286(2) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal by the Republic of Bulgaria,

Having regard to the opinion of the European Parliament (1),

Whereas:

(1) The post of the member of the Court of Auditors who is appointed upon the proposal of the Republic of Bulgaria has been vacant since 19 September 2023. The term of office of that member is due to expire on 31 December 2024.

(2) A member should therefore be appointed to the Court of Auditors,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Ms Iliana Naydenova IVANOVA is hereby appointed as a member of the Court of Auditors for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2030.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
