DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 126/2020

amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2023/1385]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1675 of 4 October 2019 renewing the approval of the active substance Verticillium albo-atrum strain WCS850 as a low-risk substance in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011  ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

1.

The following indent is added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011):

‘-

32019 R 1675 : Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1675 of 4 October 2019 ( OJ L 257, 8.10.2019, p. 6 ).’

The following point is inserted after point 13zzzzzzzzzzm (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/29):

‘13zzzzzzzzzzn.

32019 R 1675 : Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1675 of 4 October 2019 renewing the approval of the active substance Verticillium albo-atrum strain WCS850 as a low-risk substance in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 ( OJ L 257, 8.10.2019, p. 6 ).’

Article 2

The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1675 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union , shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 26 September 2020, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made  ( *1 ) .

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union .
