DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 24/2020

amending Annex XIII (Transport) to the EEA Agreement [2023/302]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1128 of 1 July 2019 on access rights to safety recommendations and responses stored in the European Central Repository and repealing Decision 2012/780/EU ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2) Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1128 repeals Commission Decision 2012/780/EU ( 2 ) , which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement.

(3) Annex XIII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The text of point 66da (Commission Decision 2012/780/EU) of Annex XIII to the EEA Agreement is replaced by the following:

‘ 32019 D 1128: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1128 of 1 July 2019 on access rights to safety recommendations and responses stored in the European Central Repository and repealing Decision 2012/780/EU ( OJ L 177, 2.7.2019, p. 112 ).’

Article 2

The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/1128 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union , shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 8 February 2020, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made ( *1 ) .

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union .
