§ 9801 - Appropriate congressional committees defined
CHAPTER 105— GLOBAL FRAGILITY
In this chapter:
(1) The term “appropriate congressional committees” means—
(1)(A) the Committee on Foreign Relations and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and
(1)(B) the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives.
(2) The term “relevant Federal department or agency” means the Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development, the Department of Defense, the Department of [Fn: So in original. Probably should be followed by “the”.] Treasury, and any other Federal department or agency the President determines is relevant to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
